Please keep in mind:

• You are limited to five downloads at any one time. Take advantage of the seven day checkout period to turn over the titles in your account faster.
• Items remain in a cart for 30 minutes. If they're not checked out, they return to the shelf.
• You can place a hold on an unavailable item and receive an email alert when it is available. You have three days to check out an available hold.

Getting Started: Downloading MP3 Songs through Freegal Music

1. Log in to Freegal Music by entering your LVDL barcode (no spaces).
2. Follow the steps on the FAQ page (found in the upper right corner) to search for and download songs.

Need more help? Click the FAQ link in the top menu on the Freegal Music homepage.

Please keep in mind:

• You are limited to three song downloads per week. You can add songs to “My Wishlist” in the upper right corner and queue up for future downloads.
• You can transfer songs to any computer or MP3 player, or even burn it to a CD. You do not need to "return" your downloaded songs.
