(Open to all ages) We're celebrating dinosaurs in November! Everyone's invited to a dino-filled party where you'll get a chance to make a dinosaur costume, create your own dinosaur fossil, and even eat some dinosaur toenails. No registration required, just stop by and join the fun!
(Grades K-1) Due to popular demand, we are adding another Royal Tea, this one for Grades K-1! Calling all young Princes and Princesses ... by order of royal decree, we request your presence at "high tea" with a surprise royal guest. Apple juice and cupcakes will be served, and costumes are encouraged!
Teach your child (babies through Kindergarteners) to sign! Signing promotes language development and communication ... learn how! Please note, there is an error in the newsletter--this program is for educators and parents. Our apologies for any confusion.
(Grades 3-12) Are you looking for a new way to read and talk about books? Come learn about the Margin Project, where you write thoughts and questions in books as you read, then other readers write back! At this program you'll hear awesome book talks, see Margin Project examples, and suggest books you'd like to see added to the Youth and Young Adult collections!
