Monday, May 5, 2014 - 5:30pm to 6:30pm
Enjoy a fabulous hour of writing workshop time with Clara Kensie, the author of the Run to You Trilogy as she teaches us the ins and outs of GMC: Goal, Motivation, Conflict. It's the building block of everything that happens in the story world: what the characters want, why they want it, and what's stopping them from getting it. We'll have fun analyzing the GMCs of the characters from The Wizard of Oz and a popular YA novel such as The Hunger Games, and, if there's time, the aspiring authors in the audience can develop GMCs for their own characters.
