Read to Give Read In/Popcorn Taste-Off

Sunday, January 25, 2015 - 1:00pm to 5:00pm
Beginning January 1, you can read to make a difference. For every hour you read, LVDL will contribute $1 (up to $5) to First Book, a nonprofit organization that connects book publishers and community organizations to provide access to new books for children in need. Ready to do more? Keep reading and if your total makes our Teen Top Ten, the library will donate $10!

Monday, February 9, 2015 - 7:00pm to 8:00pm
Paper folding is really fun. If you are new to the craft, we will teach you all of the beginning folds and you’ll leave with some incredible artwork. If you are already a pro, we have a few extra hard challenges for you to try. Included in this workshop are three dollar folding plans that are sure to impress. (Bring change if you want to keep your dollar projects. All other materials are supplied!) Registration is required.
