DIY Kids: 3D String Heart

Monday, February 13, 2017 - 4:30pm to 5:30pm

(Grades 4-6) Get creative and think outside the box as we brainstorm, manipulate materials and use different techniques to make a fun art/craft project. In February we'll wrap our "heartstrings" around a latex balloon and create a 3D string heart. A unique gift! Project needs 24 hours to dry and will go home wet ... dress for mess!

Ice Cream in a Bag (6:30pm)

(Grades K-1) It's cold outside! What better time to make ice cream in a bag? Participants will need to bring gloves or mittens to wear ... the project involves dairy, but we'll also have a non-dairy option. Other ingredients include sugar, vanilla extract, and chocolate sauce.

Teen Game Night!

Thursday, February 2, 2017 - 4:00pm to 7:00pm
Gaming night is back and it’s improved! Try out our 4-player open Minecraft on the projector, or jam out with our new Rock Band 4 set. Bring your 3DS and Yu-Gi-Oh cards to battle each other, or just stop by and drop a Poke Lure! Drop-in for grades 7-12. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Teen Craft: Drawing Landscapes

Who wouldn’t want to capture the beauty of nature on paper? In this workshop, you’ll learn different drawing techniques that will help you capture the different shapes and textures found outdoors. You’ll even learn a little about composition in drawing to make your landscape drawing amazing! Presented by artist Dan Laib. For grades 7-12. Please register online, by phone, or in person.
