In an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, Lake Villa District Library will be closed until further notice. This measure has been taken for the safety of the general public and library staff, not due to any known exposure.

If not, please follow the steps below to get started. 

To create a profile, go to and click the Create a Profile link. It will ask for your library card number and to create a password. Then, fill in your name and email when prompted. 

After you've created the profile, you'll access using your card number and the password you created. Creating an account will help keep track of the videos and courses you've watched.  

If you've forgotten your Lynda password, try resetting it. If this doesn't work, you'll have to call Lynda support at 1 (888) 335-9632. Use extension 623 to get to Client Services and say that you are a library patron who needs to reset their password. Librarians at LVDL will not be able to reset your password for you.
