Curiosity 2018 kicks off Monday, June 4!
Let your curiosity lead you to Lake Villa District Library. What interests you? What new things will you discover? Let our summer reading program take you on a journey of exploration!
For Babies, Toddlers, Grade-Schoolers, Tweens & Teens:
Read (or be read to) for 20 days to get a Curiosity Kit and a brand-new book to keep! Plus, do fun activities and earn chances to win an amazing prize basket! Pick up a reading log at the Youth Services Desk.

(Grades 7 to 12) Looking for a place to study and unwind? Join us at Finals Café! There will be places to study with friends, food, and learn desk yoga and meditation techniques!

Moon Rocks on Display at LVDL

(Open to all ages) Can't make it to our special "The Moon Rocks!" event on August 4? Stop by the library to examine small samples of lunar rock and soil, as well as fragments from meteorites, on loan to us from NASA's Johnson Space Center. No registration required.

(Open to all ages) By special arrangement with NASA’s Johnson Space Center, we are bringing actual moon rocks to LVDL! You’ll be able to examine small samples of lunar rock and soil, as well as fragments from meteorites. Enjoy fun activities and learn about the U.S. space program during a truly out-of-this-world event for all ages! No registration required.
