Take an armchair tour of Northern Italy’s Coast and Plains with Ralph Danielsen. Visit the colorful jewels along the Liguran Sea and many of the most beautiful villages in Europe. Travel to the east to the River Po---the last capital of the waning Roman Empire---and other highlights including the Cinque Terra, Portofino, Lerici, the mosaics of Ravenna as well as the incredible riot of pinnacles that is the cathedral of Milan.

Earth Day 2018: Wildlife Conservation, Falcons, and Migratory Birds

Join Craig Hendee, Executive Director of the International Heritage Conservancy, as we celebrate Earth Day 2018 with a presentation on Wildlife Conservation, endangered species, and a look at where some of our Northern Illinois migratory birds spend the winter. Craig’s famous ambassadors from the wild, Peregrine Falcons Alvin and Tommy, will be accompanying him, and he will touch on conservation projects working with various falcons, and the conservation education programs that are associated with those programs.
