For Part 3 of our Teen Cooking program, we will make one more main meal, snack, and desert. This program is part demonstration, mostly hands on, and totally fun! Registration is required and is limited to 20 participants. Registration is required for each session.

Decoupage, Anyone?

Today's your chance to decoupage, an artsy medium that you've always wanted to try. You will create a decorated project worthy of Pinterest! All supplies are provided, however, if you bring a copy of a favorite picture you will be able to make a second project. This program is great for all ages. Patrons below sixth grade need an adult partner.

How to Buy and Sell on Craigslist

Use Craigslist to turn your trash into treasure! If you're ready to clear out your closets and get some coin in your pocket, join presenter Jennifer Hovanec to learn the ins and outs of buying and selling using Craigslist. In this class, we'll discuss setting up accounts, writing your advertisements and tips on staying safe during transactions.

Junior Hands-On Science: Light & Sound, 11am

Rockford’s renowned Discovery Center Museum is back with a hands-on program for scientists ages 3-K! Work with your child to make a color viewer, experiment with shapes and shadows, and invent a sound maker for loud and soft, high and low. Register your child in person, by phone or online starting April 1; choose one of the three session times offered. Please note, a parent/guardian is required to attend the program with the child.

Face Painting

Saturday, May 30, 2015 - 1:00pm to 2:30pm
Face painting is really fun and a great way to entertain. Learn from one of the best! Keiko Johnson will show you a variety of different designs t hat you can use to decorate your face and others. This is a hands-on program, so come prepared to paint. All supplies will be provided.
