The Friends of Lake Villa District Library are happy to announce the 2021 scholarship winners.
Joshua Bayer, Grant Community High School, will attend Illinois State University majoring in history. Robin Knight, Grayslake North High School, will attend University of Arizona majoring in law. Dylan Mount, Lakes Community High School, will attend Calvin University majoring in electrical engineering. Each student will receive $1,000.00.
Established in 2018, the Friends of LVDL’s Scholarship program is geared toward high school seniors who reside in Lake Villa Township and who plan to pursue a two- or four-year degree at any accredited college, university or vocational school.
“The Friends of LVDL strongly believe in supporting our community,” said Friends President Ellen Wing. “What better way than to help a local student further their education?”
