Don't have a library card? No problem! We can email you a library card number so you can access all of our digital collection and online resources. Just fill out the online application and we'll be in touch. A physical card will be mailed to you within 2-3 business days.
Library cards are issued to residents of Lake Villa Township. There is no fee.
What You Need
Identification that shows who you are and where you live.
Examples:
- A driver’s license
- State ID card
- Utility bill
- Voter registration card
- Banking check
- Property tax bill
Library cards for people under the age of 16 require a parent or legal guardian’s signature.
Your LVDL card allows you to borrow material from most public libraries in Illinois. If you have a library card from another library in Illinois, we will let you borrow our materials, but we will ask to see an ID.
